How we apologize to our children and the children we once were for how the world treats sensitivity.

Many wonderful things happened in my childhood, including the deep relationship with a horse named Sundown and the freedom to be out on the land. Despite these idyllic experiences, the world I knew shamed me for my bright light and brilliant sensitivity.

As a highly sensitive being, you and I, and all of the sensitive children who have been, who are, and who will be, share these experiences of shaming, of being made wrong for our brilliance. We will explore the toxic messages, write the apology we need from the world, and deliver it to our past child selves.
